How the move works

  1. 1

    Start the trial

14 days of Pro, no card.

  2. 2

    Bring your clients

Export Clients > Accounts and Clients > Contacts from TaxDome, unzip each CSV and import the accounts first. TaxDome emails each file, and the link lasts 24 hours.

  3. 3

Move over at your own pace

Keep finishing current jobs in your old tool while new work starts in Tidyflow. Copy your documents out through TaxDome Drive, one folder per client, and import them all in one go. Plan the cutover before your first TaxDome renewal after 1 January. Help with the move is free.

Stay with TaxDome if: You use the full TaxDome suite, from CRM pipeline to proposals, or you have a large team and a small client list. With 20 seats included, that firm pays less under the new pricing.

Questions practices ask

Can I bring my clients from TaxDome?
Yes. In TaxDome, export Clients > Accounts and Clients > Contacts. Each arrives as a zipped CSV by email, with a link that lasts 24 hours. Unzip both and import the accounts, then the contacts, from the Clients page in Tidyflow. Tidyflow recognises the contacts file and maps each contact, with email and phone, to its first linked account. Link a contact to any other accounts by hand. See the import steps .
What about documents and past work?
Copy your files out of TaxDome Drive into one folder per client on your computer, then import client folders in one go. Tidyflow matches each folder to a client, keeps your subfolders and adds only what's missing, so you can run it again if it stops. Your clients aren't notified. Export jobs, invoices and time entries from TaxDome as CSV files to keep a record.
Do you help with the move?
Yes, for free, with no setup fee. We can walk you through the import on a call. Clients' saved cards and bank accounts can usually move over from TaxDome Payments, because both use Stripe. Pipelines and automations don't export from TaxDome, so you set them up again from our ready-made tax Jobs.
Will my clients need a new login?
Yes. You invite each contact to your Tidyflow portal by email. They can also use the Tidyflow mobile app, signing in with a code sent to their email.
Is Tidyflow secure enough for our WISP?
Yes. Tidyflow covers the FTC Safeguards Rule controls that apply to your software: two-step sign-in for clients and your team, an activity log of sign-ins and exports, encryption in transit and at rest, and a data processing addendum with 72-hour breach notice. Our security page shows how to list Tidyflow in your WISP. SOC 2 is on our roadmap.
Can I keep TaxDome until my renewal?
Yes. Start new work in Tidyflow and finish current jobs in TaxDome, then leave before your first renewal after 1 January.
How do you handle price increases?
Your price is fixed for each billing term, and we'll give you at least 90 days' notice by email before any price change reaches your renewal. When we raised list prices in 2026, existing customers stayed on the price they were paying. You can also lock in your price. Contact support within 30 days of your first annual payment, and we'll confirm in writing that your per-user price will stay the same for two years from that payment, as long as your subscription stays active and you stay on the same plan. We charge per user, not per client, so your bill doesn't grow with your client list.
